Tournament Rules & Format

Tees:
There will be two separate tee markers for men and women in each tee box for each day of play.

Contests:
Closest to the Pin and Long Drive on each 9 holes for both days of play.

Rules:

  • Local Rules and USGA rules of golf shall apply.
  • Mulligan Balls may be purchased for $5 each      (limit 2/player; 1/day)
  • No Gimmies.  All balls must be putted out.
  • Tournament Committee will do everything in its power to ensure that each group has four players.  In the event that a team only has three players, players are to rotate playing the fourth shot per hole.  You will hit the fourth drive, fourth second shot, and fourth putt.

Friday, November 22

Format:  4 Person Shamble:  All players will play their own ball from the tee.  The team will then select the best or preferred tee shot.  From within one club length of that point, all team members will then play the remainder of the hole with their own ball.  All shots must remain in a similar condition.  For example, balls in the rough must stay in the rough; balls in a hazard must stay in the hazard.  You are not allowed to change the cut of the grass from which you play your shot!

Scoring:  Please input individuals’ actual gross score for each hole played. Turn in your scorecard to golf shop after completing your round for handicap scoring.

Saturday, November 23

Format:  4 Person Scramble:  All players will play their own ball from the tee.  The team will then select the best or preferred tee shot.  From within one club length of that point, all team members may then hit a shot from that position.  Continue this process until the ball is holed.  All shots must remain in a similar condition.  For example, balls in the rough must stay in the rough; balls in a hazard must stay in the hazard.  You are not allowed to change the cut of the grass from which you play your shot!

Scoring:  Please input only the actual team’s gross score for each hole played.  Turn in your scorecard to the golf shop after completing your round for handicap scoring.
